If you want a good cup of Joe’s in the morning, this is a good basic coffee maker. It’s easy to use and honestly I don’t use the water filter as I already filter it at the faucet level. So there is really nothing to replace repeatedly!

We have the Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable model # JWX27, which is similar if not the same as this. While initially adequate overall (just hard to pour water into reservoir without spilling some), within a year the part from the basket to the carafe that controls the coffee flow from one to the other fell off. One small part of that we never found. Now my criteria for coffee makers will include reliability just below quality of the brew. By the way, we’re using our little Chemex now until we get an electric coffemaker. It takes time to make coffee, but the coffee is better than any I’ve ever had from an electric maker.

I love this coffee maker. It looks great and it is easy to use. I read some reviews about the decanter dripping and I have no idea how it could drip. I have poured many cups of coffee and it never drips. I believe this machine is a great product and I am very happy with my purchase. My only negative comment is that it takes forever for the coffee to brew and thankfully there is the stopper so I can pour a cup before it is finished brewing. The coffee maker beeps when the coffee is ready and I thought that may bother me but the sound is pretty faint and I don’t notice it when I am in another room. Overall, this product is great.

This coffee maker makes good tasting coffee. The BIG problem I have with it is the decanter dribbles every time you pour coffee into the cup. Many owners have complained of this. I’ve tried pouring slowly, pouring fast, and tilting the cup. Please be aware of this when making your decision. If you can deal with this you will like this coffee maker.

I bought this coffee maker as a present for my fiancĂ©’s birthday. I don’t know much about coffee and neither does he. He’s started drinking coffee lately so I decided to save some money and buy him a coffee maker. This coffee maker was perfect to introduce him to the world of coffee. It has all the basics a novice needs and a few tricks that he’ll need as he starts to get addicted.

It’s worked wonderfully so far. It’s simple and easy to use. It’s so easy to clean that he actually cleans it after each use. I love (and I know he does too) the delay brew function as he can get everything ready the night before and have coffee brewing as he takes his shower in the morning. I’m pleased that it has a pause and serve function so he can grab a quick cup to get himself going while it finishes brewing. Plus it looks great in the kitchen!

It’s a good, simple coffee maker without a whole lot of confusing buttons that is perfect for a novice coffee lover.
